Kohli and Shreyas Iyer then took India close to the target, with Kohli reaching his half-century. Iyer was dismissed for 30 by Nathan Ellis, but India was well on their way to victory.

Kohli and KL Rahul guided India to the target, with Kohli finishing unbeaten on 75. India won the match by 7 wickets, reaching 221/3 in 45 overs.
